Freight Charges and Switching
The Pioneer Valley Railroad publishes two circulars to cover freight charges: PVRR 3001 provides proportional rates on through freight moving to or from Westfield and Holyoke. PVRR 8001 outlines the railroad's switching district and associated charges for inter- and intra-terminal switching. In addition to the rates published on our own, the Pioneer Valley Railroad participates in many through rates offered by the CSXT Railroad.
