Arkansas Midland's Railcar and Equipment Services facility has been in operation since 1999, and offers the most complete array of mechanical services available in Arkansas. No job is too big or too small for our skilled work force, representing over 100 combined years of experience.
Quality is our first priority. The Arkansas Midland Shop is a M1003 Quality Assurance Certified and Code 9A Certified repair facility which performs the following types of freight car service:
- Inspections and estimates
- Light to heavy repairs
- Mobile repairs
- Rule 88 inspections, rebuilds, and extended life service repairs
- Touch up paint on wreck repairs
- Wheel change outs
- Roller bearing end cap seal removal
- Air brake test
- Door, load divider, and outlet gate repairs
- Rule 47, B-7 a,b,c,d and e truck bolster field repairs
- Rule 48, B-7 a,b and c truck side frame field repairs
- AEI tag replacement or repair
- Light repair work on tank cars; does not include work on tanks or valves
